Description
The “68rfe-304a Revmax” is a high-performance valve body for the 68RFE transmission designed to fix common failure points like cross-leaks and improve shifting. It features a billet aluminum channel plate with extreme flatness, upgraded billet steel components, and a proprietary separator plate to increase rigidity and eliminate leaks. This upgrade provides crisper shifts and allows for higher line pressure (up to 325 psi with tuning) compared to the stock valve body, making it suitable for heavy-duty towing and performance applications.
Features:
- Billet aluminum channel plate: A billet aluminum channel plate is used instead of the stock unit, which is prone to flexing and causing cross-leaks. It is machined to be extremely flat and has micro-polished worm tracks for smooth operation
- Increased rigidity: The design includes a thicker accumulator housing plate (3x thicker than stock) and angle-milled step downs to increase rigidity in critical areas
- Enhanced sealing: A proprietary separator plate with a bonded gasket is used to eliminate cross-leaks and prevent warpage issues
- Upgraded internal components: The valve body includes a billet steel SSV solenoid switch valve, end plugs, and RevMax Triple Double accumulator pistons with dual seals

- Higher line pressure capacity: It can handle up to 250 psi of line pressure without pump modifications or up to 325 psi with tuning and a separate orifice plug installation
