The valve stem portion of the sensor reads the pressure in your tire like a tire pressure gauge, allowing for an accurate reading. The frequency is a direct match to Ford’s OEM and will work great for aftermarket tires. Since these are set to the appropriate frequency, the TPMS light will not light up on your dash when you change your tires.
